in a Vancouver book shop i found this half a photo. old frame found at Salvation Army. the placement of the photo in this frame gives it that second look effect and makes you wonder what the story is. I titled it "fuck that guy".  a local woman saw the picture and wanted it to display in her 100 year old Victorian house.

King Dick spanner. unnamed photo.....a comment i wrote on an antique forum in response to a man who bought an old saw that had a crafty barn scene painting on it... i do assemblage of old tools with old photos on old worn wood... they make nice wall hangers.... i usually charge about $50 for a piece. I sell at auto swap meets.... i use an archival glue to stick the tool to the wood. one day a man was looking at a piece with a King Dick spanner stuck on it and was quite disturbed at what i had done to this great tool..... so your not alone. artists sometimes do wreck stuff... but man that painting on that saw is kinda boring, and sometimes a man has to cut wood or needs a King Dick........
